Like the USA1, France2, and Bermuda1 from XX2i the Hawaii1 was nicely packaged in what XX2i calls a “JR Tank Case”. This case looks like it will do it’s job to protect the glasses in your gear bag or even if you happen to leave them on your car roof. (i’ve done this, don’t ask, the glasses survived and the case was in pretty good condition afterward). The Hawaii1 glasses are held safely behind a heavy duty zipper on the hard case that is graced with a gray woven fabric feeling material. The foam and micro fiber material inside will keep the lenses clean and safe from the elements.
The Hawaii1 is a half frame aggressive styled wrap around sunglass with adjustable temples and nose pads. The lightweight carbon fiber frame felt comfortable and secure on my face. There are several orderable configurations from Black and White to Matte Tortoise and even Flat Black. All of the lense options are polarized with optional gray or brown tinting.
Both lenses were crystal clear with no distortion, even around the edges. In switching between these “8K ” lenses to the previous “4K” the new update appears crisper and has more definition in what I am looking at.
Benefits of XX2i:
XX2i has set themselves apart from the rest with their extensive warranty. They offer a lifetime warranty with no questions asked. The return policy is an incredible 365 days (a full year), to determine if the glasses will work for you.
The Hawaii1 by XX2i is a great sport fit that I would highly recommend! Check out my video review below.
